Purchasing & Holds
All items at OFFLINE are sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
We do not accept holds, deposits, or layaways under any circumstances.
All purchases must be paid in full at the time of sale and picked up within 30 calendar days. We do not offer storage. After 30 days, unclaimed items will be considered abandoned property and may be resold, donated, or discarded without refund or credit.
By purchasing from OFFLINE, the buyer acknowledges and accepts the condition of the item as described and presented. Additional photos, videos, and condition reports are available upon request.
Payment
Our preferred payment methods are cash (5% discount) or e-transfer.
We also accept all major credit cards.
To pay in installments via Affirm, email info@designedoffline.com before checkout. All financing terms are strictly between the buyer and Affirm.
Delivery & Shipping
We offer flat-rate delivery between our Montreal and Toronto studios. To receive a quote, email us with your delivery address and the item(s) you are interested in. We do not deliver or ship outside of these cities. If you are arranging your own pickup:
You must send fully insured, professional movers
Movers must arrive with sufficient personnel and proper moving equipment
OFFLINE staff will not assist with moving, lifting, or loading
We do not provide moving blankets
We can plastic wrap items upon request — this is the extent of our prep
Movers must take care not to damage our studio, doors, walls, elevators, or common areas. Any damage will be billed directly to the buyer. We reserve the right to refuse pickup if movers are unprepared or pose a risk to our studio or building. OFFLINE does not coordinate or communicate with third-party movers on the buyer’s behalf. Scheduling and communication are the full responsibility of the buyer. Missed or failed pickups that require rescheduling may be subject to a handling or rescheduling fee of up to $150. Once an item leaves our studio OFFLINE assumes no liability for damages, delays, or loss in transit. If you wish to insure your item during transport, please arrange this directly with your mover or delivery provider.
Returns & Final Sale Policy
All vintage items are final sale. New, non-vintage housewares may be returned within 14 days, in unused condition. Buyer is responsible for return shipping. All made-to-order and custom items are final sale
Vintage items are sold as-is. Signs of age, wear, patina, or prior repairs are to be expected.
We are happy to provide additional documentation prior to purchase. Once an order is fulfilled, it cannot be canceled, exchanged, or refunded.
Color & Screen Disclaimer
We photograph all pieces as accurately as possible, but colors and textures may appear differently across screens and in various lighting conditions. We are not responsible for minor color variation.
Vintage Disclaimer
Our pieces are original vintage, often 30–60 years old. OFFLINE makes no guarantees or warranties, express or implied on the safety, durability, or future function of any vintage item. We do not offer repairs or replacements post-sale.
Abandoned Property
Purchased items must be collected within 30 days of the purchase date. After this period, items will be considered abandoned property and may be resold at OFFLINE’s discretion. No refunds, credits, or extensions will be provided. If you require additional time, we may offer short-term storage at our discretion for a weekly warehousing fee. Storage is not guaranteed and must be confirmed by us in writing.
Rentals, Props & Staging
We offer rentals and staging services for photography, film, commercial, and event use.

Our Toronto and Montreal studios are appointment-only. To schedule a visit, please email info@designedoffline.com. Walk-ins are not permitted.

FAQ
Q: Will you restock this item?
A: It’s unlikely. Most of our pieces are one-of-a-kind and sourced individually.
Q: Can I be notified if something similar comes in?
A: We don’t maintain a waitlist. Follow us on Instagram and book an appointment to visit either studio.
Q: Do you offer delivery?
A: Yes! We offer flat-rate delivery between Toronto and Montreal only. Email us for a quote.
Q: Can I place a deposit or hold an item?
A: No. All sales are first-come, first-served. We do not hold items and purchases must be paid for in full.
Q: Can I return a vintage item?
A: No. All vintage sales are final.
Q: Can I cancel or change an order after it’s placed?
A: No. Once fulfilled, orders cannot be canceled or exchanged.
Q: Can I pick up a piece myself?
A: Yes, but you must send professional, insured movers. OFFLINE staff does not assist with moving or loading. Damage to our studio caused by you or your movers will be billed to you.
Q: Can you store something for me past 30 days?
A: No. We do not offer storage beyond the 30-day pickup window. If you require more time a warehousing fee can be discussed.
Q: Do you consign?
A: OFFLINE does not accept consignment.
